A plane has been in the sky in Hayle carrying a romantic marriage proposal banner.
It has been spotted circling over Long Rock Beach displaying the words, ‘Tash, marry me x’.
It is not known who Tash is or if she has said yes to the proposal.
Planes can be hired to tow a variety of banners for special occasions.
One company, Air-Ads.com, is hired for weddings, marriage proposals, parties, celebrations and special events.
When it comes to marriage proposals it promises to be at a time and place of the person’s choosing, and all they have to do is point to the sky for a marriage proposal to always remember.
It lists its prices as £500 per hour.
In Plymouth earlier this year, a bereaved family used a plane to carry a heartfelt tribute message on a banner.
It was in memory of Plymouth granny Maureen Ann Body who had a “heart of gold” and had recently died from Covid-19. She sadly died on April 8, aged 79, after testing positive for coronavirus.
As many family and friends were not able to attend her funeral to pay their respects, her family arranged for an aeroplane to fly over Plymouth, trailing a tribute message to beloved Maureen, known by many as ‘Mo’.
The tribute read, ‘Mo/mum/granny body for ever’.
