There’s a reason why visitors from far and wide flock to Cornwall every year.
As Cornish residents, we often forget how lucky we are to live next to some of the most beautiful beaches and moorland in the country.
But no matter where you live – there are still things we’re bound to dislike about our local areas.
Young people grow up taking the stunning scenery and nature’s gifts for granted – craving chain restaurants and fashion brands that local shops don’t stock.
There are also grumbles every summer about packed beaches, restaurants and harbours – leaving some residents avoiding the county’s top spots entirely during the holiday season.
And this year has, of course, been a little bit different – with even more people going above and beyond to steer clear of crowds, where social distancing is lacking.
But how would you rate your overall quality of life in Cornwall – where the fields are green and the beaches are golden, which also, on the flip side, sees families in poverty struggle with low income and a lack of opportunities?
