Here’s where the gas upgrade works in Truro will be over the next few weeks

Works to ensure that gas flows to heat local homes and power businesses began in Kenwyn Street on January 2, 2025.

Now, barring any engineering difficulties, Wales and West expect to be finished in the area by the start of May.

A spokesperson said: “We appreciate that businesses will be concerned about the disruptions and required traffic management that will be in place while Wales and West undertake their work.”

The team on site’s work is on schedule which means the current planned traffic management is as follows:

February 3 and March 5

Little Castle St will be closed from the junction of Kenwyn Street to the junction of River Street. Kenwyn Street will be closed from Victoria Square to the junction of Little Castle Street.

March 3 and April 7
