Covid data for Cornwall shows 49 areas now cluster free

Wednesday’s figures show that there have been 129 new coronavirus cases confirmed across Devon and Cornwall.

In 24 hours there has been an increase of 22 cases across the county.

This is a significant drop from last Wednesday as figures showed us that there were 192 in total.

Bude & Stratton has now become the area in the county with the highest number of individual cases with a total of 20 cases between November 21 and November 27.

This increase has resulted in Callington & Pensilva, the previous hot spot in Cornwall, becoming the second highest with a cluster of 18 as opposed to Tuesday’s figure of 21.

However Callington & Pensilva still remains the highest for infection rates per 100,000 with 215.6.

Elsewhere in the county, there are 49 areas that are cluster-free.
