Hosted by Canine Events Ltd at the Royal Cornwall Showground in Wadebridge is a Christmas market designed for your four-legged friends – complete with a Santa’s grotto where you can nab yourself a picture of your pet with “Santa Paws”.

There will even be a Santa Paws Christmas Grotto, where you can book a slot with the big man himself in advance and take home a picture of him and your pooch.

“Whether it’s that must-have collar and lead, the most comfortable bed ever or the very latest in entertaining toys, there will be a huge range of stalls selling everything from accessories to food at each event,” say organisers. “But to keep your dog happy, there will be a special doggy café where you can both enjoy refreshments and a fun dog show, raising precious funds for animal charities. There will be some Christmas doggy activities for you and your pooch to engage in.”
