Celebrity chef Ainsley Harriott was ‘lovely’ and ‘cheerful’ with fans at Cornish beach

Celebrity chef Ainsley Harriott has been in Cornwall filming his new TV show.

He visited the G7 Summit town of Carbis Bay on Sunday (September 19) and was cooking by one of the seafront lodges. The jubilant chef is currently in the process of filming his new show Good Mood Food for ITV.

Rachel Loveridge, a local resident, met the famous chef and said he was lovely and happy to meet fans.

She said: “He met and took pictures with anyone who wanted one. I thought he was a very nice man and was really cheerful. There were no diva moments whilst he was filming either.

“We did his famous ‘Susie salt’ and ‘Percy Pepper’ hand movements for the photo.”

She added: “He was very lovely and had a lot of time for everyone watching.”

She said he was filming by one of the seafront lodges at the Carbis Bay Hotel.
