Great food, which was some of the best we’ve eaten outside of Thailand, along with good service. Would not hesitate to recommend and will return whenever we’re in the area. Would recommend booking to avoid disappointment – this place has a great reputation and is popular.”

The food was cooked to perfection and not too much, but you left wanting more, not that they don’t give you enough, but you want to keep eating the great food. I just wish they would open one in the North West.”

625jadeb commented: “The most delicious Thai food we’ve ever had. We cannot fault this restaurant at all, the staff were friendly and the food was out of this world. This is the ideal restaurant if you’re vegan or vegetarian as the options were amazing! Can’t wait to come back!”

4. The Tiny Thai, Wadebridge

Rating: 4.5 out of 5

Reviews:

498duncanw commented: “Fantastic food, streamlined service. Absolutely love the Luang! We regularly get the mixed stater box with our take away orders, the spring rolls, satay, and wings always go down well! I’ve tried pretty much everything on the menu by now, eating in and take away and am yet to be disappointed! Everything is described really well too, so easy to pick something without it being too hot for you!

“The team are all super friendly and helpful and really care about the guest experience. Honestly can’t recommend Tiny Thai enough! The only downsides…. it’s getting harder to book, and get the take-out times I want.”

14Philippa added: “First time here, we had the taster menu. Nicest meal out that we have had for a long time. Definitely going back”.

5. Ploythai Restaurant, Falmouth

“I had the Jungle curry which I like but sometimes it’s not spicy hot like it should be but this was exactly what a jungle curry should be like really spicy hot and full of the most amazing flavours, I also think the prices are reasonable too for the top class food you get. Can’t wait to visit Looe again to go back here, thank you all for a great meal.”

theh83 added: “I had the squid in tamarind which was very tasty and freshly prepared as was my husbands chicken stir fry. Enjoyed with sticky rice. We were given a chilli sauce so that we could spice up as we wished.

“Lovely greeting and Staff we will be back. Glad we tried it.”

“We waited approx 30 mins for our table on a Tuesday night, and got drinks in the downstairs bar whilst we waited which had a lot of a choice and was reasonably priced. we thought the staff could have been a little more attentive but overall were friendly and happy to help considering how busy it was! The restaurant has great views of the harbour and our food was delicious so we would be happy to visit again.”
