Salman Haqqi, consumer spending expert at Money.co.uk, said: “Since the pandemic began, roughly 3.2 million households have bought a pet. So it’s great to see so many highly-rated restaurants accepting our four-legged friends.
“Thursday, August 26, is International Dog Day, giving you a great opportunity to take your dog out to one of the UK’s best dog-friendly restaurants. However, if you do plan to venture out on Thursday or over the bank holiday weekend, it’s worth remembering to book in advance and let them know you’re bringing your furry family member to ensure they have enough space and treats for both of you.”
